Manufacturer Extended
Warranty
BUSINESSAsset-Warranty are very pleased to have recently arranged a Manufacturer Extended Warranty Programme for the manufacturer of quality wide format printing machinery.
The manufacturer has insured themselves against the cost of repairs for breakdown and damage to the printers they sell. They are now able to sell each unit with an extended warranty of up to 7 years, which will stay with the equipment even if it is sold to another user.
Dealer Warranty
BUSINESSAsset-Warranty has created a dealer programme for the provision of extended warranties to a major Audio Visual Rental company based in London.
This facility enables the company to protect against many of the risks of breakdown and equipment damage whilst their valuable equipment is out in the field. The customer can therefore budget and protect themselves financially from some of the risks associated with their business.
IT System Finance
BUSINESSAsset-Finance has many end user customer relationships stretching back to the early 1990's. One of our areas of specialty is in the provision of fixed term rental facilities to the Architectural Sector.
We are pleased to have arranged yet another facility for one of our longest standing and succesful Architectural customers for their latest hardware and software order bringing the total of contracts written for this extremely valued customer to over 40!
Printing Equipment
Breakdown Cover
A customer of many years purchased a used wide format printer. The printer was imported and came without a warranty. We insured the printer for Damage & Breakdown and after only 5 weeks the printer was badly damaged due to the printheads striking an off cut of board that was left on the bed.
The repair included replacing all of the printheads and the bearings on the carriage, with a repair bill of over £50,000. The repair took several weeks to complete and, during that time, the insurer also paid £5,000 towards subcontracting our customer’s work and a further £3,800 for a finance agreement repayment.
